A few years ago, after the original ~H20+ shuttered in the 900 North Michigan Shops and the economy started to tank, other stores in the 900 complex and the surrounding streets lost momentum and started to head down hill. Only recently with shops like L.K.Bennett, Space519 and the remodel of The Oak Tree, we've seen the beginning of a resurgence.
Continuing on this path this month are two shops. The first is Mezlan, a luxury men's furnishings company based on the west coast which we've already brought to your attention. Opening on the third floor next to Lululemon, they'll sell footwear and belts made in leathers like lizard, ostrich and stingray.
The second store, which is also on the third floor next to Karen Millen will be Deka an Atlanta-based athletic wear store. They'll sell an array of exclusive fashion athletic collaborations and high-end athletic apparel for men and women. Meaning "ten" in Greek, the mission of the store is to make their clients look and feel like the perfect "10". Though their website looks like it's actually a dropbox site as a temporary location while their actual site is built, their Facebook has a wealth of information. In particular, there is a photo album entitled, "Keepin' Those Ta Ta's Put!"
