Bloomingdale's on Michigan Avenue, along with three other big time Bloomie's on the east and west coasts to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Each of these stores will open an array of in-store pop-up shops featuring black, red and gold merchandise ranging from home furnishings to this snake bag. As added perks to limited edition merchandise, and as a nod to the Chinese red envelope tradition, shoppers at Bloomingdale's can get red envelopes from February 7 to the official start of the Chinese New Year on February 10. Each envelope will reward shoppers with $8, $88 or $888 in bMoney to spend at the store, a limited-edition Taro Root flavor yogurt from the cafe or a limited-edition shopping tote.
Products in the theme pop-ups (starting right now) feature product from Seven For All Mankind, Altru, Asian Loft, Audiology, Baccarat, Christofle, Carmen Marc Valvo Couture, Charles Philip Shanghai, Chaser, DCI, J Brand, Kenneth Jay Lane, Maximilian, me.n.u, Natori and Salvatore Ferragamo.
