The Daily Herald reports that a fire broke out on the roof the Streamwood Walmart at 850 Barrington Road this morning. "The Walmart had remained open during an ongoing expansion, and the fire was reported on a roof area of the new addition. Thick, black smoke could be seen pouring from the building from several blocks away, a witness reported." The fire was extinguished and no one was hurt. [Daily Herald]
