If You're Not Running This Sunday, At Least You Can Dress Like It

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Six Points, the collaborative space between Nike and Chicago-based boutique Saint Alfred, has brand new items in celebrating Sunday’s marathon. Among the commemorative goods, which as of today are on sale, is a Chicago Marathon running jacket, emblazoned with Chicago stars and the ultra-symmetrical date of 10-10-10. Special Lunarglide Plus sneakers, complete with Chicago colors and a distinctive Chicago tongue treatment are also available, and while they might not make you run faster, a little bit of city pride might help those shin splints heal more quickly.

If you're more interested in something local doesn't proclaim your long-distance running stamina, the shop's mix of sportswear and fashion is furthered with their limited edition Nike-Dalek Heritage t-shirts. James Marshall (Dalek)'s seven unique designs are custom made and screen printed while you wait, but don't wait too long—the tees will be unavailable after Sunday.—Jenna Feldman
