Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
While Lanvinmania was in full force at H&M this past Saturday morning, a new Forever 21 made its debut in Lincoln Park on that same day without much fanfare. “There was no line and no wait,” our trusty informant wrote us over the weekend. "The store didn't seem any busier than the F21s downtown." This branch of the fast-fashion emporium, housed in the former Pottery Barn space on North Avenue, only carries women's clothing and accessories. Sorry gents.
