Church bells are ringing on Thanksgiving eve as Nordstrom’s Michigan Avenue flagship celebrates the opening of its in-store bridal boutique, the Wedding Suite. Knowing full well that every Bridezilla needs to be pampered, the folks at Nordstrom has appointed three enthusiastic wedding stylists on hand to help solve any style conundrums for the big day. The salon is also equipped with oversized fitting rooms, a plushy waiting area for friends and family, and best of all—handy iPads as visual aids for the brides and stylists. Wedding gown offerings in store include collections from Milly, Notte by Marchesa, Sue Wong, David Meister, Nicole Miller, and Tadashi. The boutique also carries reception dresses, bridesmaid dresses, shoes, headpieces, jewelry, and foundations.
Taking advantage of the holiday season as it is one of the most popular times of the year to get engaged, Nordstrom is rolling out 14 bridal salons nationwide over the next six weeks. Another Wedding Suite is slated to open in suburban Oakbrook Center on December 15.
