Late last week, thousands of well-heeled do-gooders congregated at the Palmer House Hilton for the Woman's Board of Rush University Medical Center's 85th Annual Fashion Show, Layers.

As Larry Goodman, MD Chief Executive Officer, Rush University Medical Center President, Rush University says,

"This year's theme, Layers, is appropriate given that the influence and contribution of the Woman's Board is evident in every layer of Rush's organization. After fulfilling their $10 million commitment to heart and vascular care, they have now focused their efforts on Rush's Cancer program." Models included Gerri Shute, Kendra Thornton, Julie Latsko, Elizabeth Queen, Maria Nasharr, Jack Canmann, Winnie Walker, Michelle Buzby, Kelly Horne, Whitney Sinclair, Brett Carlson, Jacque Nygaard and more. Collections represented were Frances Heffernen, Loro Piana, Luca Luca, Neapolitan, p.45, Ralph Lauren and more. The event raised $500,000 to further the philanthropic goals of the organization.
