We know the holiday shopping hasn't even started to come to the forefront of our minds but Mark Shale is already thinking ahead. The Chicago-based brand just announced a collaboration with Marwen, a non-profit organization founded in 1987 to educate Chicago’s youth through visual arts.
This is a spectacular (501-(C)3) which allows children an outlet to create and perform creative acts in the forms of painting and drawing, video and animation, photography or sculpture. When one thinks of a well rounded organization, Marwen jumps to the front of the line because of their continued support with the growth of young people's creativity even through mentoring after they graduate and for fostering a sense of place in society through art.
From the middle of November through January, the original oil paintings from the Marwen Holiday Card Series will be on display at all three Mark Shale locations. Also in the store, the Marwen holiday card boxed sets will also be available for purchase at all Mark Shale locations, starting mid-November.
