This is a photo of the brand new yet-to-be shipped Madeline Girl line by Madeline Shoes by Consolidated Shoe Co.. As outlined in WWD this morning the brand is debuting this young, bright and playful line while keeping a vintage flair. The line includes about 25 styles which are priced at $29 - $69 targeted at "whimsical juniors". Of the five stores in Chicago who stock Madeline, Nordstrom and Akira will most likely have them in the next few months. However, one of Madeline's power players, locally owned and operated, Lori's Shoes on Armitage will not be carrying them. According to our sources the styles (not the price points) will conflict too much with another line on order from Madeline supposedly coming in the same shipment scheduled to drop December 1.
Because Lori's orders so many styles season to season from Consolidated Shoe Co., could it be that they have something special in the works like a secret edition or a special designer collaboration? Or maybe the new Madeline Girl line is just too cute for springtime in Lincoln Park?
