The headlining shows in the tent in Millennium Park concluded last Friday with StyleChicago presenting The Art of Fashion 2011. After a short (but effective) cocktail session the tent started to fill to capacity and the show was starting with a short lifestyle video produced by StyleChicago. The show featured collections of accomplished Chicago designers and fashion lines including Nade Baer, Nora del Busto, Lara Miller, Borris Powell, Eva Pazola, RÜCH, Squasht by Les, Shernett Swaby, Sylwia Wilczynska and Zamrie. Each designer was also asked to create one wearable concept garment and integrate it into their collection. We absolutely can't forget to mention the lone dancer, who galloped pranced and leapt to the end of the runway in an unbuttoned black shirt artfully closing the Fashion Focus runway shows in Millennium Park.
