Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
It's time now for the announcement of the year; all rise in honor for the competitors and the victorious winners in all their glory and fanfare; the announcement of the winners of the Racked Awards 2011. From Chicago to New York to Los Angeles and Nation-Wide we've assembled categories and nominated the best personalities, characters, shops, boutiques and neighborhoods. We asked the public and with tooth and nail debated, voted and finally selected the winners. We also took the science of the clouds in the blogosphere and picked additional winners. So without further ado, may we present the winners in Chicago.
