T'was the biggest bombshell of a game changer to happen this year, we learn Maria Pinto, Women’s Creative Director at Mark Shale, has decided to resign. Maria kick-started Mark Shale’s rebranding efforts alongside the visual merchandising, marketing and buying teams when the recession was at its deepens.
Maria is now starting the process of transitioning out of her role to focus on another direction in her fashion career, while Mark Shale will continue on its rebranding track. Rich Myers, President of Mark Shale, says “We thank Maria for her service, and look forward to the exciting new direction in which Mark Shale is headed. The impact she made on the organization is apparent, and we confidently look forward to continuing on a path of growth and positive change.” Mark Shale is not currently seeking a replacement for the post of Women’s Creative Director.
