The Missoni for Target collab drama is winding down and we're already looking forward to the next one: Jason Wu. Yesterday, one of the clues to the identity of the next collaboration put out by TargetStyle was a twitpic of a piece of fabric with a yellow and teal wheels. The caption said “A beautiful visual?could it be from the next collection?”
Though the whole Missoni deal was fun, we don't expect for Jason's collection not to have all the problems & drama associated with the launch. Missoni had over 400 products in the launch ranging across several departments which all launched on the same day. Not to mention a giant robotic doll and a ton of media and advertising attention. With the Jason Wu collection, which will be done through Target's Go International program, only clothing and accessories will be available. But with only garments specifically made for women, not as much media attention is expected.
