The Scene at The Burberry Construction Site

Burberry's progress on the demolition of the two-story store originally built in 1981 is now complete. This week, they hauled off the last of the remaining rubble of the 9,000-square-foot store on Michigan Avenue. And although we look at the construction of a new five story flagship as a happy event, the saddest part of the demo was the removal of the Burberry Plaid sidewalk planters.
