For Fashion Focus in Millenium Park this year, Conscious Living TV is hosting the third annual Vert Couture Eco-Fashion Show on Thursday, Oct. 20. These do-gooders are not only keeping it carbon-neutral, but also keeping it local. The show's alternate purpose is to benefit the Keep Chicago Beautiful organization.
Vert Couture will highlight the continuum of Chicago’s sustainable, fair trade fashion movement. The event will feature Ford models wearing the spring and summer 2012 collections of Chicago’s most talented designers, like Marty Casey & Marla Zegart, Dollparts, Richard Dayhoff, Brenda Abdullah and seven more. All collections utilize renewable fabrics and vintage materials.
