Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Right next to Jayson Home & Garden there's a cute little shop named Chicago Art Source. Every year they host whats called the Bizarre Bazaar in the form of a pop-up. Artists' work included in the market include Ted Preuss' tintypes, John Hendry's photography, Lynn Basa's paintings, Mary Roussoux's playful puzzles and eleven more. You'll be able to find soaps, jewelry, perfumes, textiles all at gift-y price points.
Though the market goes until December 31, if you'd like to get a jump start on the limited goods, stop by this Friday, 11/11/11 to have a drink and meet some of the artists, it all kicks off at 6PM running through to 8PM with booze and a band.
