Cubs pitcher Kerry Wood is taking some time off the mound to co-host with his wife Sarah, a shopping benefit party at Intermix on Armitage in Lincoln Park. Taking place next Tuesday November 10 from 6PM-8PM shop the store and 10% will go to the Wood Family Foundation. The Foundation works to improve the lives of children in and around Chicago by raising funds and awareness for children’s charities and the causes they support. Like any charitable shopping benefit, there'll cocktails and noshables. [Racked Wire]
