Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The Vintage Bazaar is back for more! The pop-up flea market is a little bit more specialized this time around which will only have 14 vendors. Since its founding in 2010 The Vintage Bazaar has popped up in a series of event spaces in Chicago including Congress Theater, and has now announced the next incarnation of its traveling, temporary vintage markets: a holiday pop-up shop which will occupy a 3,500 square-foot storefront in Logan Square right next to The Congress Theater.

The Vintage Bazaar now plans to do at least 2 large flea markets a year at Congress, but curate a series of storefront pop-ups in vacant retail spaces which will carry a higher quality item and be less frazzled. These are smaller shows that span an entire weekend. This new space from what we hear will eventually be turned into a night club.

From Friday, November 11 through Sunday, November 13 you'll be able to swing by and get your vintage on in the form of wearables like jewels and baubles, housewares and extra fancy sparkly items geared toward the holiday shopper.

Vintage retailers in charge of upping the glitz-factor at this market include Estate Chicago, Houndstooth Vintage, BackGarage, First Born Vintage, Hot House, cushionchicago, Dethrose Vintage, Yellowbirdd Vintage, Bombshellshocked, Dollparts, Apartment 528, and Studio Zvi.
