Stephanie Izard of Girl & the Goat, Food & Wine’s Best New Chef of 2011, and Bravo TV’s Top Chef winner is going to be at Barbara's Bookstore signing her new cookbook, Girl in the Kitchen. Located in the sub-level of Macy’s on State Street, Barbara’s Bookstore is selling the Chronicle Books-published hard cover for $29.95. The book is a collection of Izard’s favorite recipes including: truffled white asparagus soup; pan-roasted New York steaks with sautéed cucumbers and salted goat’s milk caramel; and shrimp, corn and green tomato salad.
