Business Are Giving Away Free Stuff for Veterans Day

We're going to take this opportunity to get ever-so-slightly political and plant the seed in your head about the relevance of this upcoming Veterans Day. Coupon Sherpa's blog has pulled together a list of free things and discounts that Veterans and non-Veterans can get this Friday the 11th. The list features deals from places you'd expect like Hooters and Cabela's to the slightly more unexpected places like 522 different bed & breakfasts and thousands of car washes. As we were looking at the list we were quietly reflecting on how many Veterans there are in the homeland and wondering which ones shop at Macy's, Lowes and the Home Depot and which ones plan on ordering the 11-cent lasagna at Spaghetti Warehouse and are getting a free Slurpee at 7-Eleven.
