ANDERSONVILLE - It's hard to pronounce but it's totally worth it if you like hand made products and tchotchkes. The yearly Julmarknad festival, partly hosted by The Swedish American Museum, where you'll be able to find traditional Swedish crafts, food and entertainment takes place on Saturday, December 3 from 10AM - 5PM and Sunday, December 4 from 10AM - 4PM. Admission is a whopping $2.

LOOP - Glitter, an annual holiday shopping event that highlights local vendors, is today, December 1 from 11AM to 6PM at the Cultural Center on Randolph at Michigan. Here you'll find apparel, jewelry, and accessories from 24 independent retailers and designers. Plus there's free gift wrapping.

RIVER NORTH - The famous One of a Kind Show at the Merchandise Mart starts today, December 1 and runs through Sunday, December 4. Shop one of a kind Accessories, Ceramics, Fashion, Fiber Art
furniture, glass, gourmet food, jewelry, kids metal (whatever that means), paper products and sculpture. With more than 600 vendors this is one of most favored holiday markets and one the largest holiday markets in the universe.

ROSCOE VILLAGE - Southport, home to many a small boutique is hosting Winter Wonderfest this coming Saturday, December 3 and Sunday, December 4. After the tree lighting and caroling at 5PM on Saturday, stores will have extended hours, and refreshments. Then the fun continues with horse drawn sleigh rides and Santa.
