LOOP - Mary Cook & Associates has designed the first Angel & Kings Extreme Suite in The Hard Rock Hotel. It features a custom bar and dining table with seating for six, artwork from Pete Wentz's personal collection, gold alligator skin sofas and utilizes vintage full stack Fender amplifiers from the 60’s, a theater center with a Specimen audio system. RIVER NORTH - Moving over to the dark side, Aja Steak in the Dana Hotel will soon close, re-design and re-brand under the aesthetic direction of Kara Mann. The design plans are being submitted to the hotel this week and should have approval by next week to be open by March. A name has not yet been chosen. [Racked Wire]
