Tribune is reporting that online holiday shopping is up 15% percent compared with the same period last year, according to research firm ComScore Inc.. The total amount spent online between November 1 to December 16 is 30.9 billion smackeroos this year. Though 15% is a large increase in one year's time, this should come as a small surprise given the big push in sales by Free Shipping Day and extended online sales through the Black Friday weekend into Cyber Monday and into Tuesday.
