Our mild obsession with Fab.com is only stiffened by this sale happening right now - 3D printers by MakerBot Industries. Released last year, the goal of the company who designed it was to democratize manufacturing by producing an open source 3D printer. It's called the Thing-O-Matic and it's selling for $999 - $2000.
