Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Racked 38 Member, Architectural Artifacts didn't get on that list for no reason - they're creative and kinda ballsy. In our first bathroom profile here on Bathroom Power Hour, we bring you photos of the 33 rolls of toilet paper and toilet paper holders affixed to the wall - all the way up to the ceiling. There are some fancy holders from Winnetka estates and ones from public school bathrooms from the 50's. Each roll of toilet paper is one-ply. The women's bathroom only has one roll of toilet paper.
