Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

And now the latest from Curbed Chicago, covering everything you need to know about the city's neighborhoods and real estate.

RIVER NORTH—EnV, River North's newest, bluest 28-story apartment building hosted its grand opening in the fall. This week, Curbed posted some flashy pics from a couple of pro photogs.

EVERYWHERE—Construction season is in full swing in Chicago. Curbed did a bit of crane-gazing this week and gathered photos and renderings of seven high-rises that are in various stages of construction around town.

BRONZEVILLE—Whether or not you believe that Bronzeville is going to be Chicago's next 'hot' neighborhood, some changes are coming to the South Side 'hood, including a new Metra station, housing, a marina/harbor and some new retail.

BUDLONG WOODS—You don't have to go out to the 'burbs to find a big Keck & Keck-designed ranch house with a 1/3-acre back yard. There's one in Budlong Woods (just north of Lincoln Square), and it has been reduced by $300K. Click through for photos.
