An emergent group of Chicago’s finest independent fashion designers, artists and vendors of sustainable clothing will be presenting a lush and contemplative runway show of original springtime looks and second-hand pieces with Chez Mignon: A House of Pretty Things.
Inspired by warming weather, sustainable style and the restless interplay of Chicago’s independent creatives, A House of Pretty Things will engage the senses through fashion, photography and live music from some of the City’s most prolific young fashion designers and artistic voices.
Elastic Arts Gallery in Logan Square will host this event on Friday, April 1st from 7pm until 11:30pm. Chez Mignon may be enjoyed by anyone with an appreciation for independent insight and ingenuity in art and fashion.
The free show features spring designs by Dollparts, Alidade and Caroline Borucki while vintage styling is provided by YellowBirdd, Dethrose Vintage and Nonnie Johns.
