Citing the massive Dubai Shopping Festival as inspiration, Chicago’s Magnificent Mile will be hosting its own version of the high-profile shopping extravaganza later this summer. The Greater North Michigan Avenue Association (GNMAA) is currently rallying merchants along BoulMich to participate in this two-week fashion and food celebration that will include trunk shows, designer events, street performances, and celebrity chef demos. Renaissance man Carson Kressley will do the honors of kicking off the festival on August 26. [Racked Inbox]
