Organically Focused Pistil and Vine Opens on Damen

With the changing of the seasons and a socially conscious heart, Megan Musschoot has opened her first flower shop focusing on the highest quality and most unique of-the-moment botanicals. Pistil and Vine is located in the former 360see space which suddenly moved out last month. The colors of Megan's space are a fresh green and an antiqued yellow which lie calmly behind the lush bouquets of antique hydrangea, anemones, calendula, tulips and garden roses. Throughout the shop you'll find a full line of home fragrances that are made from all natural ingredients and essences. Additionally, the eclectic home decor is second to none. Milk glass vases, vintage mason jars, mercury glass candles and other found treasures.

With thirteen years of heavy hitting floral experience has traveled Megan around the world from Amsterdam to Bermuda for incentive programs, corporate events and fantasy weddings. In a lighthearted tone of voice, Megan tells us the importance of organics which has been the trend for years now. She says there are revolving varieties of stems and whenever she sees something organic or grown locally, she jumps at the chance to sell it in her shop.

Although Megan assumes business will be driven by wedding and corporate arrangements for which, she offers city wide delivery as well as to the 'burbs but she encourages the community members to stop in the shop and allow her to assemble the occasional arrangement because above all, Pistil and Vine focuses on the simple pleasures of life an attainable luxury we all deserve.
