One of Chicago's favorite pet stuff stores, aptly named Pet Stuff, is opening their sixth location on Diversey just west of Clark. When we stopped by yesterday, the space looked to be mostly for occupancy, minus the lack of a drop ceiling, a nice paint job, and shelving. One of the contractors in the space said he thought it would be finished in a few weeks. The shopkeepers in the Wells Street store think differently and say the store will be open in late spring or early summer. This high traffic neighborhood seems like a logical choice for Pet Stuff seeing that their business usually caters to urban pet owners and people who don't want to buy pet food at a grocery store.
