On Sunday May 1st, Chicago House in partnership with Mark Shale's new creative director, Maria Pinto host the 24th Annual Chicago House Spring Brunch. This year's fundraiser and fashion show theme is named "Kaleidoscope: A Renaissance of Fashion and Flowers" and will feature Maria's men's and women's spring 2011 selections for Mark Shale. The event will be held in the Winter Garden Ballroom at the Harold Washington Library Center on South State at Van Buren. The three course brunch will be catered by Jewell Events, Sara Lee, and best of all Grey Goose.
During the event, you can mingle with Maria and shop the one-of-a-kind flower Market, with a variety of fresh floral arrangements, all sold to benefit Chicago House, provided by Anthos, Flaire Design Studio, Jayson Home & Garden and Sunburst Flowers. Also at the event guests are able to bid on the 100-item silent auction featuring travel packages from American Airlines, electronics, and theater tickets.
Proceeds will support the formerly homeless and HIV/AIDS affected men, women and children in Chicago House’s programs, now in their 25th year. Tickets start at $200 for garden seating, a table for ten people at $2000 or a runway table for ten people for $2750.
