The Windy City is famous for its gorgeous parks, neighborhood festivals, green city gardens and myriad of markets. Starting on Sunday, June 5, we can add one more to the diverse mix - Dose. This monthly European-style market, will launch at the lofty River East Art Center and fill out a year round term with a rotating roster of the finest vendors offering artisan food, innovative fashion and design.
Tasting Table Chicago Editor, Heather Sperling and DailyCandy's Emily Fiffer curate the food selection, which ranges from artisanal breads, preserves and ice cream to bourbon-barrel-aged syrup and rare teas, all produced or sourced by local companies. The Haute Closet's April Francis. along with Time Out Chicago's Jessica Herman, collaborate on the fashion end, highlighting an edited assortment of goods, from new and vintage clothing, accessories and housewares to exclusive-to-the-market styles for both men and women.
The June market will feature vendors like Chicago Honey Co-op, Rare Bird Preserves, Blis, Defloured, Seedling Fruit, Snookelfritz, Suitor, Shades of Grey, Luxury Garage Sale, Deliciously Vintage, Mineralogy and more than two dozen more. Dose Market kicks off Sunday June 5 and will run one Sunday each month year round. Admission is $10 at the door.
