Casualties in Retail: Metropark in Schaumburg and Northbrook

This coming Sunday is the last day of business for Metropark in Schaumburg. The last day of business for the Northbrook location was yesterday and the rest of the Metropark company will be shuttering soon thereafter. Merchandise from brands like True Religion, Diesel, Rock & Republic, BCBG, G-Star, Obey, 7-Diamonds remains at 30%-50% off and will not be discounted any further.

The California-based chain announced bankruptcy on May 4th and in conjunction with Gordon Brothers Group and Hilco Merchant Resources have been organizing going-out-of-business sales at all 69 locations.
