We held our breath in anticipation last December when Pantone, the world’s leading color forecasting firm, declared Honeysuckle Pink the color of 2011. Would this bold, vibrant pink really take over the world as easily as turquoise did in 2010? Pantone bases its color predictions upon recent designer collections and other cultural forces in the world of art and design. After spotting Andron on a recent warm day in Chicago, the answer is yes. Pantone still holds its position as color oracle. Designers depend on the firm to create palettes each season of the most popular colors.
