RIVER NORTH—The gallery district will get back to its artistic roots with an infusion of street smarts when Union Sushi + Barbeque Bar opens next week. Eater got a sneak peek at the interior and menu.
HYDE PARK—After 14 years of serving up Southern-inspired fare, Calypso Cafe will shutter on June 5 to make way for a new development.
WEST TOWN—There's been some stops and starts along the way, but James Toland tells Eater that his new approachable haute cuisine spot The Black Sheep, will open just after Memorial Day.
UPTOWN—The city issued a few lakefront liquor licenses and the Dock at Montrose Beach got one. Look for upscale fare and cold cocktails.
