Midsommarfest Will Be Fantastic

This weekend, the shops of Andersonville and the Swedish community will host one of the most established festivals in the city; Midsommarfest. Yes, another year of blow-out shopping events, maypole dances, music acts, and independent craftspeople. Stores like Akira, Brimfield, Sifu, Haymaker, Room Service, Red Balloon, Scout and Woolly Mammoth will open their doors and have special discounts, go-go-dancers and lots of booze. Some of this year's music acts include Sixteen Candles, Chicago Spirit Brigade, Afterglow, and the legendary Nordic Folkdancers. [Racked Inbox]
