Yesterday the Andersonville / Edgewater communities kicked off the start of summer with all things local and or yummy and in most cases, both local and yummy. The Andersonville Market of course, gives priority to food vendors but will spiratically mix in some hard goods that fit with the Andersonville Aesthetic.
Some of our favorite vendors at this market Kilgus Farmstead, River Valley Kitchens, Tomato Mountain, Rare Bird, Leila Love, Bennison's Bakery, Denanne Farms and the energetic string rock band Hillions. And those strawberries, oh jeeze, those strawberries smelled so good - they just washed the entire strip of Berwyn between Clark and Ashland with a sweet crushed luscious aroma that is worth trotting to Andersonville for.
The market is open each Wednesday, from 3PM - 8PM and will always have a revolving list of vendors depending on season.
