Breaking: Sassoon Salon to Open Street Level in River North

For years the Sassoon Salon has been tucked away in the Water Tower Place. Given the newest tenants in the mall, we feel like it is time to move onward and upward. As we just found out, Sassoon thinks the same.

Sassoon will soon begin the buildout process and inhabiting the space on the corner of Wabash at Erie. The space sits back from the street and is shaded by leafy green trees and is much larger than their current salon. We expect to start to seeing construction and an opening later this year.

With this move, Sassoon Salon is moving into a block near the new Ikram, Sarca, Odile, Jonathan Adler, Club Monaco, Trader Joe's, Hotel Dana, The Ritz Carlton Residences, and the James Hotel. No word yet on what business may be taking the Sassoon Salon space in Water Tower Place which currently sits across from the pop-up Lego Store.
