One of the best things about summer in Chicago are the street festivals. This past weekend, neighborhoods around the city hosted such popular shin digs as the annual Do Division Fest, Maifest, and Eastside Millennium Art Festival. Year after year, our daytime family-friendly favorite has consistently been Printers Row LitFest. This year’s LitFest, provided guests with impressive lists of authors covering wide ranges of styles and approaches—which included author presentations, book signings, workshops, readings, and much more. More than 125,000 book buyers flocked to Printers Row to sift through bazillions of used and antiquarian books, block letters, independently published titles, posters, newspapers, magazines, and foundation subscriptions, rare post cards, and records that are no longer being pressed. -Braylen Barr
