We just learned that this vacated LeSportsac space in the heart of the Bucktown shopping district has been signed by Lush Cosmetics. The space offers a clean-lined aesthetic that is less 'rustic' than previous designs and will enhance Lush's new brand look.
The Lush team began testing out the new interior design slowly revamping the Vancouver Flagship, New Orleans French Quarter location, and Portland Oregon Northwest 23rd Ave location. All of these stores feature higher ceilings, black and white paint, less curved lines and more shoppable and visible product. Each of these stores as described by a costal Lush employee has a communal table that feels very much like you're sitting in someone's kitchen.
What we're hearing now is that this year, Lush will begin rolling out the newest store design beginning with the Water Tower Place "refizzle" and the newly acquired Bucktown Location. We're also hearing there are a few additional spaces around the Chicagoland area that Lush's team is looking at.
