Last night at the historic Rock n' Roll McDonald's in River North, we witnessed one of the most amazing events on our radar right now which combined fast food and fashion realms and encouraged consumers to "drinkcessorize" everyday. This was a major first for McDonald's in North America and a definitely first ever for Akira to connect with fashion-forward burger-munching customers.
Backstage, all-american models from Ford and Wilhelmina stuffed their faces with Quarter Pounders and McNuggets before the show while guests also sampled new sauces and McDonald's 45 drink options you can drinkcessorize with. The new drink options included signature Frappes, frozen lemonades, strawberry smoothies, and different varieties of Coke. Dressed in Akira's on-trend clothing from brands like G-Star and Lacoste, the models walked the perimeter of the second floor of the and posed on two separate backdrops with the new drink options.
