Sofia Vintage Downscaling Mens; Adding 20 New Womens Lines

Right now if you're headed into Sofia Vintage on Oak you'll find that the majority of mens women contemporary merchandise is on sale to (duh) make room for fall stock. The clincher today is that most of those mens contemporary lines will not be coming back.

Within the next few months the mens selection will be significantly scaled back to a modest assortment of vintage tees, button downs and Wranglers. In the year and a half keeping a rolodex of well-heeled clientele on Oak Street, Sofia believes the overwhelming majority of business comes from women. This decision gives the shop more room for experimentation in the current space they have. The Sofia buyers have expanded womens orders for Fall with 20+ new lines.

Although this decision to scale back mens comes on the heels of recent openings like Scoop NYC, Sofia will most likely keep men's mannequins in the window to showcase the vintage men's items they will still be carrying.
