It came to our attention last night that the new Ikram boutique in the heart of River North's Shopping district which will have a cafe is definitely serving salads.
Most of the food served in the second floor cafe of The Red Box will be sourced locally from farms in Michigan, Wisconsin and Illinois. Chef Christopher Sullivan will serve, among other things a trio of salads and a plate of five salads which we expect to be the hot items on the menu. The cafe will only be open for lunch.
Also on the second floor, there will be a small home wares section where you can find glassware, candles, stationary among other home accents. There is also an art exhibition in the second floor gallery which opens with the boutique at 10AM tomorrow.
