Urban Mischief is Now Open; Sells Much Much More than Vintage Credenzas and Settees

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

You may recall way back in June when we brought to your attention a new shop in Andersonville, named Urban Mischief that is continuing the Classic Andersonville Aesthetic but with a naughty twist.

Well, Madam Shelly Elfstrom has now opened her doors and we get to see what she's talking about. The shop offers well-priced vintage furniture, home accents, unique finds and lifestyle goods to create a custom home environment. In the back of the shop, which can be curtained off for private events more provocative product lines are sold and features a boudoir blurlesque-esque swing (which can support 300 pounds) with ruched velvet over the chains and tassels accenting the seat.
