On August 27th Bloomingdale’s Home & Furniture store in conjunction with The Chicago School of Flower Design is hosting Michael Gaffney, one of the country’s most renowned floral artists. Gaffney will personally share in-depth techniques and personal experiences on topics such as architectural design, editorial floral design, bridal design, talk about his book, Design Star and other hot topics. He'll also and recreate inspired arrangements for top shoppers.
Serving as a go-to stylist in the floral industry, Gaffney has designed arrangements for award-winning festivals, weddings, A-list Hollywood events, and films featuring Jennifer Aniston, Natalie Portman, and Phillip Seymour Hoffman. Gaffney has appeared on My Fair Wedding with David Tutera, The Today Show, and countless television and radio segments around the country. Gaffney’s first book, Design Star, to be released this fall will feature tips, advice, and photos of his work throughout the years.
