One of our favorite Racked 38, Hazel on Montrose is presenting the Secret Sideshow, a collection of new works from Chicago-based artist Laura Berger. Laura takes influence from children's books, cartoons, and Japanese artists and lets her imagination run wild with her graphic, character-driven artwork. The show will be up from September 2 to September 30 but if you're extra curious about the Secret Slideshow you can meet us at the opening reception Friday, September 2, from 6pm to 9pm. Laura will be available that night for autographs and scary campfire stories not only with her fantastic new work, but a great selection of cards and prints as well. [Racked Wire]
