Groupon Seeks Swiss Vacation Home

Stu Woo and John Letzing from The Wall Street Journal report Chicago based Groupon is considering opening an international headquarters in Switzerland. This is a move for the company that would position the company favorably because of the country's business-friendly tax policies. Groupon has filed papers in Switzerland to explore opening an office there within the next six months.

The potential Swiss headquarters would handle finances for Groupon's non-American operations. The company, which in June filed to go public, would remain incorporated in the U.S. and based in Chicago. Read More here [Wall Street Journal]
