The first weekend in October means several things; colorful leaves, heavy sweaters and West Town's Design Harvest. Design Harvest is a one of a kind fest that will feature Chicago's best local furniture and home accessory makers, vintage and antique collectors, and local retailers of the home design industry. Designers and collectors of home goods will be absolutely delighted to shop this street festival is guided by strong aesthetics.
The West town Chamber of Commerce, Post 27 and Chicago Home & Garden Magazine are inviting design front runners like Room Service Chicago, Morlen Sinoway, ReAdapted, Green Home Chicago, and Urban Environments to the stretch of Grand Avenue between Wood and Damen. There'll be programmed by the Hideout and foodstuffs by local, organic and sustainable vendors.
Additionally, Design Harvest is a juried fest and still accepting submissions for vendors so if you think you've got what it takes to impress the design community, fill out the application and include some hot photos.
