Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

One thing we're super duper excited for and can't wait to shop is the brand spankin' new Perchance Boutique set to open August 19th between the courtyard and State Street sides of the Elysian Hotel. The opening date is fast approaching and we're wondering how on earth they're planning on buying for the 1,600-square-foot space they've signed on for... or even how they're going to open on time.

Aside from the new brands and fab carry-over from their renowned Southport Corridor location, the mot recent update on the buildout of the buku-bonkers-bucks Elysian storefront is that the new cement floors have now been poured. Our sources tell us the new floors were poured yesterday per the design of interiors specialist, Jillian O'Neill.

Merchandise from brands like Ulla Johnson, Marchesa, Loeffler Randall, Doo.ri, Cacharel, Erin Fetherston and M.Z. Wallace will start arriving next week.
