Luca Lanzetta, proud Italian owner of the Chicago leases of high-design kitchen and bath showrooms, Antonio Lupi and Ernestomeda has opened a Molteni & C pop-up. Situated in the coat check room (aka) Mart leasing office, the team at Ernestomeda has built a series of vignettes showcasing Molteni & C that are now open to the public.
Being ushered in by a private event later on in the week, the pop-up showroom will only last for two months while the permanent showroom is being built out in the old Au Bon Pain space on the south side of the building facing the river.
Molteni & C is famous for the most unusual media system storage systems, wardrobes (freestanding and interior) sofas and dining tables and furniture. The vignettes will feature these pieces as well as one of their built-in 505 libraries.
